After a two seasons racing time trials I decided that despite being very motivated, training using heart rate and racing to train were no longer working for me. Having read about the benefits of training with power, I wanted to find a coach who was experienced with power based training.
I started training with Richard in the Summer of 2011 and by the end of the season had taken over 3 minutes off my 25 mile time. Richard has personalised a training plan to fit around the limited time I can train and has provided extremely useful feedback from looking at my race files.
Richard is prepared to take the time to answer questions about training and as a strong time triallist himself provides very experienced feedback and advice which has really helped me.
